| PoetWorks Press is honored to award the Josephine Darner Poetry Award for 2008. This award of merit is presented to the poet whose work has been judged as most original and outstanding among the submissions received. Four Editors independently reviewed and selected their personal choice for this award. All Editor reviews were averaged and the recipient has been selected. This award has been presented to the poet whose work most impressed the Editors. In addition to the cash prize, ten perfect bound books of a collection of the winning poet's work will be published and awarded. Publication will be in 2009. We congratulate this year's recipient and offer our thanks to the selection editors who spent their time and expertise selecting from among the many worthy submissions. |
