A Collection of Poems By Joan Stewart Hague
Joan Stewart Hague, also known as ShadoPoet, was one of our most talented writers. Her mastery of form, content and style were trademarks of her work. She loved poetry and understood the "power of the pen" as well as being able to flawlessly add grace to her poetry. Her book Shadows In The Wind is a collection of some of her finest works. We were pleased to know "Joni" as both a writer and a friend and are honored to have published this book of poetry. She will be missed-- --Editor

Shadows of a Memory Upon a blue and moody night Where skylarks fail to fly The shadows of the nightingale Fly soft across the sky Melodies of springtime rest Within a memory Of yellow curls and Barbie dolls And loves that weren't to be A candle lights a shadow there Within a quiet room Vanilla scented portraits Invade the cold gray gloom On walls of dusty memories The magic weaves its spell The shadows waltzing silently The strains of Mozart swell And there within that once still night Dance soft in midnight blue The shadows of a memory The ghosts of you and me... excerpted from Shadows In The Wind
